Why should you choose Art Source for Design over other art e-commerce web sites?  Unlike other e-commerce sites, ASFD supports its artists with direct email marketing, search engine optimization and paid marketing, and a national sales force that offers direct presentations to corporate buyers and the professional design trade. No other art listing site that we know of offers that kind of representation.  When a sale of your work is made, either through our website or through a sales presentation, you receive the order and ship out your artwork. We provide you with our shipping number, and we also cover the cost of shipping. You are responsible for packing,so if you have a large piece that requires crating, please be sure to add that into the price you have set for your work.

Promotion
Artists' work will be featured on our website, and promoted nationally through internet marketing campaigns. Unlike most art websites, Art Source for Design artists are also promoted in face to face presentations to interior designers, purchasing agents, architects and other art buying professionals.   In addition to our website marketing, your work is included in our marketing emails and may also be included in our print advertising. We even are involved in releasing press releases for you...it's almost like hiring a PR company. We do all this for NO monthly or annual fee, working instead with a standard 50/50 gallery commission for sold artwork. Agreements are non-exclusive for artists, except for original work. And while no individual original work may be sold elsewhere while available on artsourcefordesign.com, any individual painting may be taken off the site with 15 days notice. There are NO sign-up fees, membership, listing or annual fees, just an initial one time jury fee of $25. You are able to cancel at any time.

It is a simple process to apply...

Step 1. Application
We are looking for artists across a diverse spectrum of styles and subjects for our national audience of buyers.  Just  fill out the application and send your submissions to submissions@artsourcefordesign.com

Step 2. Submissions
We'll just need digital images, a bio, pricing and a short, recent history of exhibitions. In order to get a good representation of your body of work, you must submit a minimum of four, and a maximum of twelve, works of art to be juried during this process. If you have more work that you’d like to sell through ASFD, once you’re juried to the site you can submit more later.  Images should be JPEGs between 550 and 2000 pixels in their largest dimension. If accepted, we'll agree with you which artwork is best suited for inclusion on the site.

Step 3. Sales
Digital images of your artwork will be displayed and featured on artsourcefordesign.com, marketed to art buyers across the country, as well as in face to face presentations to interior designers,purchasing agents, architects. You'll keep physical possession of all artwork. When we make a sale, we'll  coordinate a UPS pickup at your home or studio (or give you drop-off instructions at the nearest UPS location).
